Bo Bichette - Expected to resume running soonBlue Jays manager John Schneider said Monday that he expects Bichette (calf) to begin running in 2-to-3 days, Keegan Matheson of MLB.com reports.
ImpactBichette recently resumed hitting and fielding drills at the Blue Jays' spring training complex in Florida and is almost ready to take another big step when he starts up a running program. If he shows he can run without issue, a rehab assignment would figure to be around the corner. Bichette has been shelved since late July with a moderate right calf strain.

Easton Lucas - Claimed by JaysThe Blue Jays claimed Lucas off waivers Monday.
ImpactThe Tigers designated Lucas for assignment Friday after he allowed two runs in 3.1 innings. While he finds a new home in Toronto, the 27-year-old will likely report to Triple-A Buffalo. Lucas logged a 3.51 ERA across 33.1 innings for Detroit's Triple-A affiliate. Alek Manoah (elbow) was moved to the 60-day injured list to open up a spot on the 40-man roster for Lucas.
