He'll move back to his usual spot at shortstop now that he's back at Tigers camp, and the team brass will be hoping that the strong showing on the international stage will help invigorate Baez after he endured a rough first season in Detroit upon signing a six-year, $140 million deal last winter. Despite his excellent showing in the WBC, Baez hasn't carried that form over to the Grapefruit League, where he's slashing .136/.130/.227 with no walks and four strikeouts in eight games.

ImpactThe 27-year-old catcher is locked into a spot on the big-league roster and will split time behind the plate with Alejandro Kirk (illness) this season, so his spring numbers don't mean a whole lot. Jansen set new career highs with 15 homers and an .855 OPS in 2022, giving him plenty of appeal as both a later-round catching option and a DFS play on days he gets the start.

Adam Cimber - Looks good MondayCimber tossed a scoreless seventh inning in Monday's Grapefruit League game against the Tigers. He didn't walk or strike out a batter.
ImpactThe groundball specialist hasn't seen much game action this spring, working 3.1 innings over four appearances, but Cimber looked ready for Opening Day on Monday and needed only 10 pitches (eight strikes) to retire the side. After recording career highs with four saves, 10 wins and 20 holds in 2022, the 32-year-old right-hander will serve in a high-leverage role once again with Toronto, but his lack of strikeouts limits his fantasy ceiling in some formats.
