Emmanuel Rodriguez - Promoted to Triple-ARodriguez has been promoted from Double-A Wichita to Triple-A St. Paul, Bobby Nightengale of the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports.
ImpactRodriguez just recently returned from a right thumb injury with a rehab game at Single-A Fort Myers over the weekend and now will move up to the Twins' highest minor-league affiliate. The 21-year-old has been excellent this season when healthy, slashing .298/.479/.621 with eight home runs, nine stolen bases and 46:42 K:BB over 37 games with Wichita. Rodriguez is already on the 40-man roster, but it seems unlikely he pushes for a promotion to the majors later this month.

ImpactBuxton will play center field for the Saints on Monday in what will be his first game action since he went down in mid-August with right hip inflammation. It's not clear how many rehab games the Twins will ask Buxton to play, but a return before the end of the week seems doable.
