Set to rejoin big club Wednesday D'Arnaud (thumb) is scheduled to make his final rehab appearance for Triple-A Gwinnett on Tuesday before rejoining Atlanta ahead of Wednesday's contest against the Reds, Mark Bowma... Impact D'Arnaud, who has gone 4-for-17 with a pair of walks through the first six games of his rehab assignment, will catch for rehabbing Atlanta pitcher Ian Anderson (shoulder) and is expected to play the full nine innings behind the dish. Assuming he incurs no setbacks with his surgically repaired left thumb, d'Arnaud will be reinstated from the 60-day injured list a day later. Even if he doesn't start for Atlanta on Wednesday, d'Arnaud should quickly displace Stephen Vogt as the team's No. 1 backstop as he returns from a three-plus-month absence. The addition of d'Arnaud should provide as shot in the arm to an Atlanta offense that will likely be missing Ronald Acuna (knee) and Marcell Ozuna (fingers) for the remainder of the season.
