Impact The right-hander racked up 16 swinging strikes in the outing and did not yield any extra-base hits. The only run the Braves scored against him came on a third-inning infield single that was accompanied by a throwing error. Mahle is off to a strong start following last season's breakthrough campaign that included 13 wins, a 3.75 ERA and a 10.5 K/9.
