Impact Taylor entered the game in the top of the seventh as a defensive replacement over Christian Yelich and made his presence felt on his lone at-bat, hitting his seventh homer of the campaign and tying the score at 3-3. That homer snapped a four-game hitless streak for Taylor, as well as ending a drought of 20 games without a homer.

Impact Taylor plated home both Christian Yelich and Omar Narvaez with a two-run single in the top of the ninth inning, and this was just the second time all season long he managed to reach base at least three times. The 27-year-old only has a .663 OPS over his last eight games while also getting more time in the outfield, but he'd need to improve his overall numbers to justify the increase in at-bats he's receiving of late.

Impact As expected, Taylor required a short stay on the IL after being placed on it June 13 with a right shoulder strain.
