Homers in win Guerrero went 2-for-3 with a home run, two RBI and two runs scored in Sunday's 7-5 win over the Rockies.
Impact Guerrero's 21st home run came in the third and provided the Blue Jays with their initial run of the contest. He later just missed another home run by rocketing a single off the left field wall in the fifth to drive in another run. Guerrero has now hit safely in 13 of his last 14 games, batting .283 with three homers, 10 RBI, and nine runs over that stretch. He is slashing .266/.341/.439 on the season over 583 plate appearances.

Could see late-game action at 3B The Blue Jays are open to using Guerrero at third base late in games following the injury to Matt Chapman (finger), Ben Nicholson-Smith of Sportsnet.ca reports.
Impact The team doesn't plan to give Guerrero any starts at the hot corner, but he could be used there on occasion should late-game substitutions dictate it. Guerrero, who hasn't played more than two innings at third base in a season since 2019, has begun taking grounders there pregame. For fantasy purposes, there might be an outside shot that he gains eligibility there, depending on your league's specifications. Davis Schneider started at third base on Monday in the Jays' first game without Chapman, who is without a timetable as he nurses a sprained right middle finger.
