Jakson Reetz - Remains in organization Reetz cleared waivers Saturday and was assigned to Triple-A Rochester, Jesse Dougherty of The Washington Post reports.

Impact Reetz appeared in a pair of games for the Nationals in mid-July but was pushed further down the depth chart when the team acquired both Keibert Ruiz and Riley Adams at the trade deadline. He was no longer needed on the 40-man roster and was designated for assignment Thursday to clear space for reliever Jhon Romero. He'll remain in an organizational depth role going forward.

Carter Kieboom - Managing left forearm issue Kieboom was scratched from Friday's lineup against the Reds due to a left forearm injury, Mark Zuckerman of MASNSports.com reports.

Impact Kieboom was removed from Friday's lineup shortly before the start of the contest, and he didn't appear off the bench in the loss. Manager Dave Martinez revealed after the game that the third baseman is dealing with a forearm injury after being hit by a pitch earlier in the week, and he'll undergo an MRI on Saturday to determine the extent of the issue.
