Welington Castillo - Healthy at Triple-A Castillo (shoulder) has appeared in five games this season for Triple-A Rochester, going 3-for-11 with seven walks and an RBI.
Impact Castillo is healthy again after he was slowed during the Nationals' big-league spring training due to a shoulder issue. The injury took him out of the running for a spot on the Opening Day roster for the big club, and the 34-year-old will likely have to wait for an injury to either Yan Gomes or Alex Avila before he receives consideration for a call-up.

Max Scherzer - Takes unfortunate loss Scherzer (4-3) was tagged with the loss Tuesday against the Reds after allowing two runs on five hits and a walk while fanning nine across seven innings.
Impact Scherzer had an excellent outing, but that wasn't enough to get the win since the Nationals' offense didn't support him properly -- they went 4-for-30 with six strikeouts and just one run scored. Despite the unfortunate loss, Scherzer continues to pitch at a high level -- he's now given up two or fewer runs in five straight outings while posting a 1.63 ERA across five outings this month.
