Andrew Chafin - Picks up 10th holdChafin pitched a scoreless inning of relief in Thursday's win over the Nationals to record his 10th hold of the season.
ImpactChafin has been one of the Cubs' most dependable relievers so far. In addition to the team-leading 10 holds, the lefty has a solid 2.57 ERA, 0.90 WHIP and 21 strikeouts across 21 innings. He should continue working in a high-leverage role for Chicago.

Joc Pederson - Gathers two more hits in winPederson went 2-for-5 with an RBI in Thursday's win over the Nationals.
ImpactFor the second game in a row and sixth time in the last nine contests, Pederson recorded two or more hits. Perhaps more importantly, the outfielder has batted leadoff in consecutive games as well. The Cubs started the season with Ian Happ in that role and have also used Anthony Rizzo and Willson Contreras there. If Pederson can stick in the top spot, he should get more at-bats overall and could see an uptick in runs.

Ian Happ - Homers twice in winHapp went 2-for-4 with two home runs and three RBI during Thursday's win over the Nationals.
ImpactThanks to a recent resurgence, Happ moved his way up in the lineup to the cleanup spot and made it count, hammering out a pair of long balls to bring his season total to six. The outfielder gave Chicago the lead for good with a two-run shot in the third inning. He then led off the fifth frame with second homer of the day. Happ now has four home runs across six games since coming off the injured list following a collision with teammate Nico Hoerner. After a slow start to the season, Happ is slowly raising his slash line to .206/.320/.402.
