Drops off big-league rosterMcGowin was optioned to the alternate training site Saturday, Dan Kolko of MASN Sports reports.
ImpactThe 29-year-old was recalled ahead of Tuesday's season opener but was demoted Saturday with Patrick Corbin returning from the COVID-19 injured list. McGowin didn't allow a hit and had one strikeout and one walk over 2.1 scoreless frames during his brief time in the majors.

Out of Saturday's lineupStevenson is not in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Dodgers.
ImpactThe 26-year-old started in left field the first four games of the season, but he'll head to the bench after going 2-for-14 with one run, two RBI and four strikeouts. Hernan Perez will start in left field Saturday for Washington.

Activated for Saturday's startCorbin was activated from the COVID-19 injured list and is set to start Saturday's game against the Dodgers, Dan Kolko of MASN Sports reports.
ImpactThe 31-year-old was away from the team for a week due to contract tracing from the Nationals' COVID-19 outbreak, but he's set to start the fifth game of the season Saturday. However, Corbin may not be a great fantasy option since he could face some limitations in his first start of the season and due to the brief layoff.

Return date uncertainKelly (undisclosed) is with the Dodgers but doesn't have a timetable for his return, Michael J. Duarte of NBC LA reports.
ImpactKelly has been throwing since late February, but there's no indication how far he has progressed. The designation of his injury is also cloudy; Kelly dealt with a shoulder issue last last season, but the organization hasn't stated that the right-hander's current absence is related to that injury. According to Jorge Castillo of the Los Angeles Times, Kelly's return date is currently behind that of fellow sidelined reliever Brusdar Graterol (not injury related).

Still no timetable for returnGraterol (not injury related) is with the Dodgers, but it is still unclear when he'll be ready to return to game action, Michael J. Duarte of NBC LA reports.
ImpactGraterol was added to the 60-day injured list in early April, but that designation appears to have been an error as he is now noted as being on the 10-day IL on the team's official MLB site. The reliever doesn't seem to be suffering from any new injury and is believed to still be recovering from an offseason bout with COVID-19. Graterol has been throwing for a few weeks, per Jorge Castillo of the Los Angeles Times, so he may not be far off from joining the club despite the uncertain timetable.

Claimed by DodgersGoudeau was claimed off waivers by the Dodgers on Saturday, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.
ImpactGoudeau was designated for assignment by the Giants on Monday, and he'll remain in the NL West going forward. Goudeau made his major-league debut with the Rockies in 2020 and posted a 7.56 ERA and 2.04 WHIP in 8.1 innings across four relief appearances. Even if he joins the Dodgers' major-league roster, he should serve as a low-leverage reliever.
