Bryce Johnson - Recalled from Triple-AThe Giants recalled Johnson from Triple-A Sacramento on Thursday, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.
ImpactThe 27-year-old outfielder will replace Austin Slater, who has landed back on the injured list with another left hamstring strain. Johnson went 3-for-20 (.150) in a 10-game stint with the Giants last month and probably isn't worth fantasy consideration despite his good speed.

Austin Slater - Heads back to ILSan Francisco placed Slater on the 10-day injured list Thursday with a left hamstring strain, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.
ImpactSlater suffered the injury while running down the first base line Wednesday versus the Nationals and will likely be sidelined for at least a couple of weeks. He missed most of April with the very same injury. Bryce Johnson is joining the Giants' active roster in a corresponding move.

Michael Conforto - Homers in lossConforto went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Wednesday's 11-6 loss to the Nationals.
ImpactConforto's long ball came in the eighth inning with the Giants already down eight runs, so it didn't make much of an impact. He was able to shake off an 0-for-16 skid over his last six games. The outfielder has seen a starting role in right field for much of the season, but he hasn't done much with it, slashing .171/.298/.324 with five homers, 12 RBI, 18 runs scored and a stolen base over 32 contests.

Riley Adams - Hits three-run home runAdams went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run in Wednesday's 11-6 victory over the Giants.
ImpactAdams last played May 4 versus the Cubs and went 0-for-3 with two strikeouts, but he drew the start Wednesday with Keibert Ruiz getting the night off. Adams made the most of his opportunity by extending the Nationals' lead to 4-0 with a three-run home run in the second inning, but he was retired in each of his final three at-bats. Ruiz should continue to draw the majority of the starts behind the plate, but Adams' first long ball could help him draw a few more chances moving forward.
