Suffers left knee contusion Alvarez suffered a left knee contusion in Saturday's game against the Padres, Chandler Rome of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Impact Alvarez had to be helped off the field after he fouled a ball off his left knee Saturday, and he's considered day-to-day. The 24-year-old will likely be evaluated to determine the extent of the issue, but it doesn't appear as though he's dealing with a serious injury.
