Gives up four runs in no-decision Plesac didn't factor into the decision Friday against Tampa Bay after allowing four runs on eight hits and two walks while fanning three across 6.2 innings. Impact Plesac gave up a third-inning homer to Nelson Cruz but was solid the rest of the way, and he was well on his way to earn the win until the bullpen gave up six runs in the top of the ninth. It wasn't Plesac's finest outing, however, and the fact that he has given up at least three runs in four of his last five appearances isn't exactly encouraging, either. He owns a 4.30 ERA on the season and is expected to make his next start during next week's road series against the White Sox.
