Heads to injured list The Indians placed Plesac on the 10-day injured list Tuesday with a non-displaced right thumb fracture, Zack Meisel of The Athletic reports.

Impact Plesac presumably suffered the injury during his tough outing Sunday, when he allowed three earned runs in just 3.2 innings. It's unclear how much time the righty will spend on the IL, but he's certain to miss at least his next two starts.

Lasts 3.2 innings Plesac didn't factor into the decision Sunday against the Twins after allowing five runs (three earned) on five hits and a walk while fanning one across 3.2 innings.

Impact Plesac couldn't complete the fourth inning and delivered one of his shortest outings of the season, though at least he extended his undefeated streak to six appearances, going 3-0 with a 2.93 ERA in that span. The right-hander is slated to pitch against Friday at home against the Blue Jays.

Sneaks away with win Plesac (4-3) allowed five runs on seven hits and a walk while striking out four over seven innings as he picked up a win over the Angels on Tuesday.

Impact All five runs Plesac gave up came via the long ball. He surrendered a solo shot to Shohei Ohtani in the first, a three-run blast to Justin Upton in the fourth and then another solo home run to Jose Iglesias in the seventh. It wasn't a great outing for the 26-year-old but he still managed to come away with a win and now has three in his last four starts. He'll take a 3.93 ERA into his next start.
