Impact The 25-year-old was sent to the minors in early June but will rejoin the Marlins' bullpen after Louis Head (shoulder) was placed on the 15-day injured list Thursday. Pop allowed three runs on five hits and no walks while striking out four in three innings over his first two major-league appearances of the season.

The right-hander's demotion comes just one day after he made his 2022 debut for the big club, as Pop gave up two earned runs on three hits in an inning of relief in Sunday's 7-3 loss to the Mariners.
