Sharp, but no decision Sunday Greinke allowed three runs on five hits and one walk while striking out eight over 7.2 innings in Sunday's no-decision against Cleveland.

Impact Greinke allowed two home runs but mostly dazzled Cleveland hitters, who swung and missed 17 times. They had just two hard-hit balls off the right-hander through seven innings before Cleveland chased him in the eighth with a game-tying home run. Greinke, who is 6-1 with a 3.24 ERA over this last 10 starts, will get one more start before the All-Star break, as he's expected to throw Saturday at home against the Yankees.

Takes no-decision against O's Greinke didn't factor into the decision in Monday's 9-7 loss to the Orioles after giving up three earned runs on eight hits and a walk while striking out four across five innings.

Impact Facing the Orioles for his second straight start, Greinke was unable to come away with his third win in a row. Greinke ultimately exited with a 3-2 deficit after serving up a go-ahead, two-run home run to Ryan Mountcastle in the top of the fifth inning, but Houston tied the game in the bottom of the seventh to spare the right-hander his third loss of the season. Impact Greinke had base runners in five of those innings, including leadoff runners in the seventh and eighth, but was able to bear down and limit the damage. Once the Astros pushed the go-ahead run across the plate in the seventh, the bullpen stepped in to save the win for the starter. If the Astros stick with the plan to use six starters during a stretch of 20 games in 20 days, Grienke's next outing is due Monday at home against the Orioles.

Impact Greinke held the Rangers to one run over five innings, but he loaded the bases in the sixth and watched two of the runners score after he was replaced by a reliever. Still, the veteran emerged with his fifth win over his past seven starts and extended to 12 his streak of yielding four or fewer earned runs. Greinke isn't striking out many batters this season -- his 6.5 K/9 is on pace for his lowest mark since 2005 -- but he has still managed to put together a respectable 3.74 ERA across 91.1 innings.
