Wins Cook Out 400 Dillon won the Cook Out 400 NASCAR Cup Series race at Richmond Raceway Sunday night. Impact The two different tire compounds made this an interesting short track race. Dillon had a strong car and showed it all night. He would take control late, taking the lead from Denny Hamlin with 28 laps to go. A late caution would force an overtime restart. Dillon would battle with Joey Logano and lose the lead on the white-flag lap. However, the driver of the No. 3 Chevrolet would rally back in turn 4 and spin Logano and drive past for the victory. It was Dillon's first win of the season and fifth-career victory.
