Engine Failure and DNF Wallace suffered an engine failure and finished 36th in the Toyota / Save Mart 350 NASCAR Cup Series race at Sonoma Raceway Sunday afternoon.
Impact Wallace's recent string of bad luck continued Sunday in the Toyota/Save Mart 350. The 23XI Racing veteran made it just 9 laps into this 110-lap battle in the California foothills. Wallace's Toyota began to smoke and give all indications of an engine failure. He would park his wounded machine just outside turn 4A and grab a ride to the garage area. It was Wallace's fourth DNF of the season.
