Poor Martinsville Finish Hamlin battled mechanical issues and finished 28th in the Blue-Emu Maximum Pain Relief 400 NASCAR Cup Series race at Martinsville Speedway Saturday night.
Impact Coming off the big Richmond win, Hamlin and the No. 11 team had high expectations coming to Martinsville Speedway. However, the Joe Gibbs Racing star would battle an ill-handling car most of the race. Things would go from bad to worse when on lap 313 Hamlin's Toyota would stall on pit road and bring out the caution. He would end up 3 laps down to the leaders and finish a distant 28th in the Blue-Emu Maximum Pain Relief 400.
