Wins Heat Race 3
Haley won Heat Race 3 in the Busch Light Clash at the Coliseum Sunday afternoon.
Impact
True to form, this 25-lap heat race saw another wire-to-wire victor. Haley started on the pole and led all the way to the checkers. He held William Byron at bay to capture the heat race win. Haley advances into the main event along with Byron, Christopher Bell and Chase Elliott.

Third Qualifier in Clash
Haley was the third-fastest qualifier for the Busch Light Clash at the Coliseum Saturday evening. He turned a fast lap of 64.790 mph.
Impact
Haley was one of the drivers to make his run early. The driver of the No. 31 Chevrolet put up a fantastic lap when the track was quite slick and lacked grip. Haley's lap would stand up quite a while before Tyler Reddick would knock him off P1. The young driver will roll of first in Sunday's third heat race at the L.A. Coliseum.

Kaulig Racing has named veteran crew chief, Trent Owens, for the team's first, full-time season in the NASCAR Cup Series with driver Haley.

Kaulig has tabbed veteran Owens to head up Haley and the No. 31 Chevrolet team. He has 287 Cup Series starts to his credit with one win and 31 Top-10 finishes. Owens and Haley will make a great team to get this new team up and rolling in 2022.
