Top-5 Phoenix Finish Larson finished fourth in the NASCAR Cup Series Championship Race at Phoenix Raceway Sunday afternoon.
Impact Larson wasn't in the battle for the championship, but he'd battle among the championship contenders all afternoon at Phoenix Raceway. The driver of the No. 5 Chevrolet would lead just 13 laps but he'd race inside the Top 10 the full event. Down the stretch Larson would shore up Top-5 track position and hold off the strong Christopher Bell to claim an impressive fourth-place finish in the season finale race. It was his series-leading 15th Top 5 of the campaign.

Third in Xfinity 500 Larson finished third in the Xfinity 500 NASCAR Cup Series race at Martinsville Speedway on Sunday afternoon.
Impact Larson would be a Top-10 driver for the full 500 laps and he would get to the lead late in stage 3. The Hendrick Motorsports star would lead 71 circuits of the half-mile oval before Chase Elliott would re-take the lead. Larson would fall under assault from Ryan Blaney in the closing laps as he charged to the victory. Larson would slip to third-place by the checkered flag for his 14th Top-5 finish of the season. Unfortunately, he would be eliminated from the playoffs as a result.

Impact Larson would start on the outside pole and look to challenge for the win Sunday at the South Florida oval. The Hendrick Motorsports star wouldn't spend a lot of time battling among the leaders, but he would get into the lead thanks to some race strategy. Unfortunately, as Larson and Ryan Blaney battled for the lead, the two would make contact and Larson would spin. The caution would come out saving Larson some track position but he'd eventually finish a disappointing 13th-place after the mishap.
