Top 5 in Echopark Texas Grand Prix Chastain finished fourth in the rain-shortened Echopark Texas Grand Prix at Circuit of the Americas Sunday afternoon.

Impact One of the surprise performers of the day at COTA was Chastain and his No. 42 Chevrolet team. The journeyman driver came from deep in the field to race among the leaders. By the end of stage 1 he was already up to eighth-place. Chastain turned in 4 laps led and had his best performance of the season. When rain brought the event to an end at lap 54, he was scored in fourth-place. It was the first Top-5 finish of the season and first Top 5 of Chastain's career.
