Runner-up Finish at Atlanta Chastain finished second in the Quaker State 400 NASCAR Cup Series race at Atlanta Motor Speedway Sunday afternoon. Impact Chastain would lead 32 laps and battle among the leaders all afternoon at the Atlanta oval. He would get involved in a big multi-car crash at one point, but continue on after some repairs. The final restart with just 3 laps to go would see the Trackhouse Racing veteran battling for the win, but he couldn't get around Chase Elliott before a wreck on the last lap would bring out both the caution and checkered flag. The runner-up finish was Chastain's 10th Top 5 of the season.
