Top-5 Finish at Fort Worth Blaney finished fourth in the Autotrader EchoPark Automotive 500 NASCAR Cup Series race at Texas Motor Speedway Sunday evening.
Impact The young Penske Racing star started just outside the Top 10 and would have to race hard to break inside and remain inside the Top 10. Blaney would eventually work his way to the lead during stage 2 and take the win in that stage of the race. He would lead 29 total laps and secure the track position late to race for the win. Blaney would chase Justin Haley in the closing laps but would finish fourth in the Autotrader EchoPark Automotive 500. It was his ninth Top-5 finish of the season.

Crew chief suspended Blaney's crew chief Jonathan Hassler has been suspended for the next four races after having a wheel come off at Bristol last week, Bob Pockrass of Fox Sports reports.
Impact This is the standard that the teams have been held to all season in regards to wheels coming off. Blaney will also lose his jackman and rear changer for four races as well. A replacement crew chief has not been named, but the team could elect to appeal the penalty which may allow Hassler to crew chief for a couple more weeks. Either way this isn't an ideal situation going into the Round of 12.
