Impact Newman completed 96 laps before wrecking during Saturday's Pocono Organics CBD 325, so he'll need to start from the rear of the field Sunday while using the secondary car.

Impact Newman was initially supposed to start in the 13th position. but was pushed to the back of the group after some last-minute unapproved adjustments with his car. Fifth-Place on Bristol Dirt Newman finished fifth in the Food City Dirt Race at Bristol Motor Speedway Monday afternoon.

Impact The first Bristol dirt race of the modern era would produce an interesting mix of experienced dirt racers and drivers with very little experience on dirt at the top of the finishing order. Newman's dirt racing roots helped propel him to a great finish Monday at Bristol. He started in the middle teens of the grid and moved quickly into the Top 10. Newman would collect a pair of Top-10 finishes in the first two stages. By lap 250 he would cross the finish line with a strong Top 5. It was Newman's first Top-5 finish of the season.
