Runner-up Bristol Finish Reddick finished second in the Food City Dirt Race NASCAR Cup Series race at Bristol Motor Speedway Sunday night.

Impact The Richard Childress Racing youngster would dominate much of the night on the Bristol dirt. Reddick led 99 laps and seemed poised for the victory after the final restart. However, Chase Briscoe would drive in too deep underneath the No. 8 Chevrolet in the final turn of the final lap and spin both cars. Kyle Busch would drive by for the win and Reddick would regain control long enough to grab a close second-place finish. It was his third Top-5 finish of the season.

Fast Opening Bristol Practice Reddick was fastest in opening practice for the Food City Dirt Race NASCAR Cup Series race at Bristol Motor Speedway Friday afternoon. He turned a fast lap of 89.924 mph.

Impact It was no surprise to see the dirt racing veteran Reddick top the opening practice on the Bristol dirt track Friday. The driver of the No. 8 Chevrolet edged Chase Briscoe, another strong performer on dirt, for the fastest lap of the session. The 50-minute practice would see Reddick turn a whopping 63 laps on the half-mile dirt oval. He'll be a Top-5 threat in Sunday night's Food City Dirt Race.

Leg Numbness Reddick thought the numbness issues he dealt with at Auto Club Speedway had been addressed, but found them to be worse Sunday afternoon in Las Vegas, Racer.com reports.

Impact Reddick dealt with left leg numbness in the Fontana race where he led 90 laps and won the first two stages of the event. The Richard Childress Racing driver again dealt with the leg numbness this past weekend at Las Vegas. The new driver cockpit in the Next-Gen car is thought to be part of the issue. "It's a totally new cockpit; the cockpit in this car is deeper," Reddick said. "A lot of things have changed. It's a little bit easier to maybe get your feet too high, too low, maybe not get the blood flow that you need."
