Set for starting role Coach Nate McMillan indicated Monday that he plans to start Holiday when seeding games begin, J. Michael of the Indy Star reports.

Impact McMillan revealed his projected lineup of Holiday, Malcolm Brogdon, Victor Oladipo, T.J. Warren and Myles Turner, which implies that: 1. The Pacers expect Oladipo to play; and, 2. McMillan does not expect Domantas Sabonis (foot) to be available. Assuming that's the case, the Pacers look to be favoring a smaller lineup featuring three guards, with Warren starting at the nominal power forward spot.

Impact McConnell didn't see that many minutes, with fellow backup guard Edmond Sumner earning four more minutes than the veteran. Nevertheless, McConnell is likely to remain the team's primary backup at point guard given that Aaron Holiday, Malcolm Brogdon and Victor Oladipo are all among the starting five in the aftermath of the potentially season-ending injury to Domantas Sabonis (foot).

Impact Holiday was solid during his first taste of competitive action since the season's shutdown in March. With Victor Oladipo's (knee) status for the restart still unclear, Holiday could be vaulted into a bigger role come the seeding games. When he saw at least 24 minutes during the regular season, he averaged 12.4 points on 10.5 shots, 4.7 assists, 2.9 rebounds and 1.0 steals.
