Says time off beneficial Horford admitted his health "probably wasn't where he wanted [it] to be" so this season and that the time off has been beneficial, Rich Hofmann of The Athletic reports. Impact Horford struggled at times during the season, shooting just 44.2 percent from the field, 33.7 percent from three and 75.3 percent from the charity stripe. It seems the hiatus has given the 34-year-old time to rest his body, and the Sixers are likely hoping he can rise to the level of play we saw out of him in Boston. Over 46 playoff games with the Celtics, he averaged 15.1 points on shooting splits of 53/43/81 plus 7.7 rebounds and 4.3 assists in 34.8 minutes.
