Impact Dave McMenamin of ESPN.com reported after Davis left Wednesday's win over the Jazz that the star big man would be out for at least two weeks, but that timeline was pushed back further following Thursday's MRI. Since Davis will just be getting re-evaluated in mid-March, he could be sidelined until late March in a best-case scenario, given that he'll require some ramp-up time once cleared to resume basketball activities. The Lakers will likely lean on a collection of players to fill minutes in Davis' stead.
