Impact Davis will play Thursday after being considered probable, though his availability for the second half of the back-to-back set Friday at Charlotte could still be in question. The 28-year-old may take on a heavier offensive workload against Philadelphia since LeBron James (knee) is sitting out.

Probable Thursday Davis (knee) is probable for Thursday's game against the 76ers, Harrison Faigen of SBNation.com reports.

Impact Davis was back on the court in Tuesday's win over the Nets after missing 17 games with an MCL sprain, and he totaled eight points, two rebounds, two assists, four blocks and a steal in 25 minutes. While it wouldn't be surprising to see him face a minutes restriction once again Thursday as he continues to work on his conditioning, it appears likely that he'll be available for the first half of the back-to-back set.

Impact Davis returned to the court Tuesday, playing with a firm minutes restriction. While his numbers weren't eye-popping, his impact was clear for all to see. The five defensive counters highlight just how important he is to the team, as well as to fantasy managers. The medical staff is going to want to ease him back slowly, so it is unlikely he is back to full speed for at least a handful of games. That said, he is more than capable of putting up elite value in limited minutes and so he is a clear must-start player moving forward.

Will make return, face restrictions Davis (knee) will make his return to action Tuesday night against Brooklyn, Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports reports. He will face an unspecified minutes restriction.

Impact Davis was listed as probable coming into the day, and the team has since confirmed that he'll be back on the floor for the first time since spraining his MCL against Minnesota on Dec. 17. For fantasy purposes, the minutes restriction probably makes Davis a stay-away in DFS contests, but the hope is that he'll be back up to full speed by the end of the week. Looking ahead, it's very possible the Lakers could hold Davis out of one-half of their upcoming back-to-back set Thursday (at PHI) and Friday (at CHA). Prior to the injury, Davis averaged 23.3 points, 9.9 rebounds, 2.9 assists, 1.2 steals and 2.0 blocks with 52/18/73 shooting splits.
