Joining South Bay Traore was assigned to the South Bay Lakers, Jovan Buha of The Athletic reports.
Cleared for Opening Night Traore (hand) will play Tuesday night against the Timberwolves.
Impact Traore missed time during the preseason due to swelling in his right hand, but the issue has cleared up in time for the 2024-25 regular-season opener. The 21-year-old is currently buried on the depth chart, so he'll likely see the majority of his chances in the G League, at least to start the year.

Dealing with right hand injury Traore is expected to be out "for around five days" with swelling in right hand, head coach JJ Redick told Khobi Price of The Orange County Register.
Impact Traore inked a two-way deal with the Lakers in June, and even though the Lakers will keep close tabs on this injury, it shouldn't affect anything from a fantasy perspective. Traore is expected to suit up for the South Bay Lakers of the G League in 2024-25.
