Impact Matthews had missed the Hawks' final four games before the All-Star break due to an illness, but he was cleared to resume playing when Atlanta kicked off its second-half schedule last week. However, Matthews hadn't been included in head coach Quin Snyder's rotation for the first three games out of the All-Star break before he got some run Thursday. It's unclear if Snyder plans on keeping Matthews in the rotation moving forward, but even if he does, the 37-year-old likely won't see his playing time dramatically increase from the 14 minutes he received versus Toronto.

Impact Bufkin hasn't been a regular part of the Hawks' rotation this season, but the promising floor general had to see minutes off the bench in this one due to the team's lack of depth in the backcourt. His numbers were decent, but the only real reason why he logged minutes was that it was a blowout loss, and this was a good chance to see how he performed at the NBA level following several above-average displays in the G League. Bufkin could stay with Atlanta for a few more days, but he could also return to College Park, as he's spent most of the season with the Skyhawks.

Impact Johnson saw his double-double streak end Thursday, but that's not much of a surprise since the Hawks only mustered 97 points and looked badly outplayed by the Nets on both ends of the court. One bad game is not going to throw Johnson's impressive season into the trash, however, as the former first-round pick has progressed immensely over the last few months. Since the start of February, Johnson has been averaging 16.5 points, 9.9 rebounds, and 4.1 assists per game. To put things into perspective, those three figures would be his career-best marks if sustained for an entire campaign.

Scores 28 in loss to Brooklyn Murray totaled 28 points (11-19 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 4-7 FT), six rebounds and five assists over 32 minutes during Thursday's 124-97 loss to the Nets.
Impact Murray has embraced a more prominent role on offense with Trae Young (finger) sidelined, and the veteran guard has now scored 24 or more points in three of his last four appearances. The Hawks will need to see upticks in performances from several players, not just Murray, if they want to replace Young, but Murray should handle most of the playmaking responsibilities, resulting in a considerable uptick of his fantasy upside.
