De'Andre Hunter - Perfect from charity stripe Friday Hunter totaled 24 points (7-14 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 8-8 FT), seven rebounds, three assists and one block across 33 minutes during Friday's 125-120 victory over the Hornets.
Impact Hunter was the second-leading scorer for the Hawks on Friday behind All-Star point guard Trae Young (38). Hunter had a subpar shooting effort during Wednesday's win over the Nets, but the 2019 first-round pick was more efficient against Charlotte and connected on all eight of his free-throw attempts. He'll look to build off his strong outing against Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and the Thunder on Sunday.

Trae Young - Hangs 38 points on Hornets Young closed with 38 points (11-24 FG, 5-14 3Pt, 11-13 FT), eight rebounds, 10 assists and four steals over 41 minutes during Friday's 125-120 win over the Hornets.
Impact Young stuffed the stat sheet Friday, posting game highs in points, assists and steals. However, he did turn the ball over seven times. The 26-year-old is off to a fantastic start to the 2024-25 campaign, averaging 34 points, 11 assists and 6.5 rebounds across the first two games. Though it's unclear if he'll retain this pace, Young looks to be making a push for his first All-NBA berth since 2021-22.

Impact Johnson already established himself as one of the league's premier rebounders at the forward position during his breakout campaign in 2023-24, averaging 8.7 boards per contest. While his 72.8 free-throw percentage last year and poor start from the charity start on Opening Night are alarming, Johnson should continue to be a double-double threat every outing.

Impact Young delivered what could be his first of many double-doubles, helping the Hawks to a narrow victory. After starting the game slowly, Young got going in the second quarter, ending with a team-high 30 points. With Dejounte Murray (hand) now residing in New Orleans, Young is likely to have his hands on the ball a ton. His efficiency is likely to fluctuate but as someone who could lead the league in assists while scoring close to 30 points per night, he should make for an elite fantasy producer once again.

Impact Okongwu came off the bench but outplayed Clint Capela, closing the game as the Hawks held off a tenacious Brooklyn team. Although fantasy managers would love to see Okongwu running with the starters, it appears as though he is going to remain the backup, at least for the time being. With that said, there is a decent chance he ends up playing starters' minutes, which should be more than enough for him to be a real difference-maker across all fantasy formats.
