Dyson Daniels - Strong two-way performance Daniels compiled 13 points (5-14 FG, 3-7 3PT), eight rebounds, four assists and three steals in 24 minutes during Thursday's preseason loss to the Thunder.
Impact Daniels remained in the starting lineup, a role that could very well be his for the taking when the season starts next week. He makes sense as a defensive stopper alongside Trae Young, with Bogdan Bogdanovic providing a scoring punch off the bench. Despite his limited offensive upside, Daniels should be considered late in drafts, especially for his defensive capabilities and out-of-position rebounding.

Kobe Bufkin - Explodes for 31 points in loss Bufkin amassed 31 points (12-26 FG, 7-14 3PT), four assists, three rebounds, one steal and one block in 36 minutes during Thursday's preseason loss to Oklahoma City.
Impact Bufkin shifted into the starting lineup, replacing Trae Young who was given the night off. Making the most of his opportunity, Bufkin took charge on the offensive end, flashing the upside we have been waiting to see. Sadly, his role will diminish when the Hawks are healthy, leaving him on the outside looking in when it comes to meaningful playing time. With that said, he should serve as the primary backup behind Young, which at least gives him some appeal in deeper formats.

Onyeka Okongwu - Subdued performance Thursday Okongwu finished with nine points (4-7 FG, 1-4 3PT), four rebounds, one assist and one block in 16 minutes during Thursday's preseason loss to the Thunder.
Impact Okongwu made his preseason debut, finishing with a modest stat line in limited minutes. It is unclear whether Okongwu will be the starter this season, although based on what we have seen over the past couple of years, confidence is low. However, Clint Capela is dealing with an ankle injury, something that could open the door for Okongwu to get first crack at the role. Either way, he makes sense as a target anywhere after pick 100.
