De'Anthony Melton - Solid contribution in winMelton finished with 15 points (6-13 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 1-2 FT), six rebounds, five assists, one block and one steal over 34 minutes during Friday's 125-114 win over the Hawks.
ImpactMelton won't get the touches on offense like Joel Embiid and Tyrese Maxey, but he picked his spots well against the Hawks and had a nice all-around performance. Melton has now scored in double digits in four straight games and 13 of his last 14 appearances. He came into Friday's game averaging a career-high 13.2 points per game.

Maxey entered Friday's game averaging career highs in scoring (26.9 points), assists (6.7) and rebounds (4.4) and free throw attempts (5.4). Maxey has stepped up as the clear second option for the 76ers after the trade of James Harden and the former is making a strong case for the Most Improved Player award.

ImpactEmbiid entered Friday's game as the leading scorer in the NBA, averaging 33.1 points per game while shooting 51.1 percent from the floor. His 38 points against Atlanta was a game-high and was the seventh straight time the reigning MVP has scored 30-plus points in a game, thanks in large part to his contributions at the free throw line. He'll continue to make his case for back-to-back MVP honors Monday against the struggling Wizards.
