Will be converted to full NBA deal The Nets will convert Edwards to a standard NBA contract in advance of the postseason, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports. Impact Edwards has been playing on a two-way deal, meaning he would not be eligible to play in the postseason. In order to keep him available for the play-in tournament, and beyond, the Nets will move him to a full NBA deal and part ways with James Johnson in order to clear a roster spot. Edwards, a rookie out of Pepperdine, has appeared in 46 games this season, averaging 5.8 points, 3.5 rebounds and 1.0 threes in 20.1 minutes per contest.
