The 31-year-old averaged 15.0 points, 3.4 rebounds and 4.0 assists while shooting 48.5 percent overall and 40.0 percent from deep in 45 games for Philadelphia prior to the trade.

Questionable for Monday's contest Johnson is questionable for Monday's game against the Kings due to a right knee contusion.

Impact Johnson suffered the knee injury during Saturday's loss to the Clippers and is in jeopardy of missing additional contests. If he's unable to suit up, Blake Griffin and Bruce Brown are both candidates for increased roles off the bench.

Impact Following Thursday's blockbuster trade that sent him to Brooklyn, Simmons has joined his new team, but because he hasn't been part of a team structure since taking part in one training camp practice with the 76ers, he'll need some time to get back up to full speed. General manager Sean Marks was unwilling to speculate Friday when asked when Simmons might make his team debut, but the Nets may prefer to hold him out through the All-Star break to allow the 25-year-old to get some more practice reps under his belt. Whenever he's cleared to make his Brooklyn debut, Simmons will likely be tasked with taking on a high-volume, big-minute role for the reeling Nets, who have lost 11 games in a row to drop to 29-27 overall. Due to his vaccination status, co-star Kyrie Irving is eligible to play in only eight of the Nets' remaining 26 regular-season games, while Kevin Durant (knee) is making progress but may not be available immediately after the All-Star break.

Impact Claxton has been sidelined the last four games with hamstring soreness but is set to return to the court Monday. The Nets should have plenty of options at center since LaMarcus Aldridge (ankle) is also set to make his return from a lengthy absence, while Andre Drummond could make his team debut after being acquired from the 76ers in the James Harden trade.

Out next four games Irving (ineligible) is set to miss the Nets' next four games, with his next opportunity play coming Feb. 26 in Milwaukee, Brian Lewis of the New York Post reports.

Impact Due to New York City's vaccine mandate, Irving remains ineligible to play at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, where the Nets play three of their next four games. Within that stretch, the Nets will also have a road game against the Knicks at Madison Square Garden, where the mandate also applies to visiting players. Barring a change in his stance regarding vaccination or an update to New York City's or Toronto's policies, Irving will be eligible to play in only eight of the Nets' remaining 26 games. Irving's upcoming stretch of missed games could make it tough for fantasy managers who might already be down key contributors due to injury to continue holding the 29-year-old on rosters. Irving's impending absence is a tough blow to the shorthanded Nets, who have lost 11 games in a row and are likely to be without Kevin Durant (knee) and the newly acquired Ben Simmons (conditioning) through the All-Star break. Until the Nets get one of their new "Big Three" back in action, the likes of Patty Mills, Seth Curry and Cam Thomas could absorb most of the usage on offense.

Edwards looks like he'll continue to remain in a starting role at least until Kevin Durant (knee) returns, but the 21-year-old shouldn't be viewed as a roster-worthy option outside of deeper fantasy leagues.
