R.J. Hampton - Facing extended absenceThe Heat relayed Thursday that Hampton (knee) could be headed for an extended absence, Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.
ImpactDetails on the nature of Hampton's sprained right knee are scarce, but the fourth-year player is apparently out indefinitely after suffering the injury in a practice last week with the G League's Sioux Falls Skyforce. Hampton had made just one two-minute appearance with the NBA team this season before suffering the injury.

Caleb Martin - Plays 12 minutes in returnMartin accumulated six points (2-4 FG, 2-3 3Pt), one rebound and two assists in 12 minutes during Thursday's 122-115 win over the Nets.
ImpactMartin missed 10 straight games due to knee tendinitis but returned to action Thursday, marking his first appearance since the regular-season opener. He was limited to just 12 minutes and was behind Jaime Jaquez, Josh Richardson and Kevin Love in the rotation. Last season, Martin averaged 9.6 points, 4.8 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 1.0 steals in 29.3 minutes across 71 appearances (49 starts), but it's unclear if he'll be able to see that much playing time consistently in 2023-24.

Trendon Watford - Plays 10 minutes in lossWatford chipped in four points (2-3 FG), two rebounds and one assist across 10 minutes during Thursday's 122-115 loss to Miami.
ImpactWatford has appeared in six of the Nets' last nine games. During that stretch, he's played double-digit minutes four times. In those contests, he's averaged 9.5 points, 4.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.0 steals in 17.5 minutes per game. Those are solid per-minute stats, but his role is too inconsistent to trust in fantasy, especially given Ben Simmons (hip) may return to action soon.

Duncan Robinson - Drains six threes against BrooklynRobinson totaled 26 points (8-14 FG, 6-10 3Pt, 4-4 FT) and two assists in 38 minutes during Thursday's 122-115 victory over the Nets.
ImpactRobinson has been outstanding since moving to the starting lineup, and he's now scored 15-plus points in three games in a row, including two 26-point performances in that span. He's also shooting 40.5 percent from deep in that four-game stretch and seems to be trending in the right direction. His fantasy upside will remain on a high as long as he stays in a starting role.
NOVEMBER 17, 2023ROTOWIRE
Jimmy Butler - Explodes for 36 points in victoryButler finished Thursday's 122-115 victory over Brooklyn with 36 points (12-19 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 10-11 FT), five rebounds, three assists, three blocks and one steal over 35 minutes.
ImpactButler was dominant Thursday and delivered one of his best all-around performances of the campaign. The star forward has posted back-to-back games with at least 30 points for the first time in 2023-24 and is averaging 24.3 points, 5.1 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 1.6 steals per game in November. The lack of consistency on a game-to-game basis has been a small issue at times, but other than that, it's been business as usual for the veteran.
