The 76ers medical staff's evaluation of McCain included concussion testing but specifics regarding the injury are few and far between. Regardless, McCain will undergo further evaluation at a hospital following the contest. The 76ers have one more preseason game -- Friday at Orlando -- before starting the regular season Oct. 23.

ImpactThe specifics of McCain's injury are unknown but it wouldn't be surprising to see the rookie be held out as a precaution. After spending some time on the floor, McCain was able to walk off the hardwood and into the locker room with minimal help, which is encouraging. While he's out, Jeff Dowtin and Ricky Council could see more minutes.
