ImpactKolek saw more playing time Tuesday as Jalen Brunson and the rest of the Knicks' starters rested. Kolek didn't shoot particularly well from the floor, but he managed to lead the Knicks in assists and was third in rebounding behind Precious Achiuwa (16) and Jericho Sims (10). Kolek, the Knicks' rookie second-round pick, will likely see limited playing time as he serves as the third point guard on the depth chart behind Brunson and Cameron Payne.

Dadiet's playing time will likely be limited to start the regular season and he'll offer a complimentary role behind starters Mikal Bridges, Josh Hart and OG Anunoby.

ImpactAchiuwa was inserted into the starting five Tuesday as the Knicks' typical starters rested in the penultimate preseason contest. Achiuwa took advantage of the extended playing time, grabbing a game-high 16 boards (including six on the offensive side of the floor), and he showed off his extended range by connecting on two of three three-point attempts. Achiuwa should see more playing time off the bench to start the 2024-25 regular season while Mitchell Robinson continues to work through a left ankle injury.

ImpactRichards has started in each of the Hornets' four preseason games as Mark Williams continues to work through a foot injury. If Williams is unable to suit up for Opening Night, Richards should serve as Charlotte's starting center until the former returns. Richards started in 51 of 67 regular-season games for the Hornets last year and averaged 9.7 points on 69.1 percent shooting and 8.0 rebounds across 26.3 minutes per game.

ImpactSalaun was inserted into the starting five for Seth Curry on Tuesday, and the former got an extended look with a game-high 37 minutes of playing time. The rookie first-round pick is expected to come off the bench for the start of the 2024-25 regular season, but Salaun could earn more minutes -- and possibly a spot in the starting rotation -- if he outplays Josh Green (rest) and Cody Martin early on.
