ImpactBuzelis struggled a bit with his shot, but the rookie has been finding ways to produce when given the opportunity. He's slated to open the season on a bench role, but if things go south for the Bulls as the campaign progresses, don't rule out the possibility of Buzelis seeing an increased role in the coming months.

ImpactGiddey is slated to open the 2024-25 season as the Bulls' starting point guard, so it's certainly a good omen to see him lead the team in assists in a game where none of the other projected starters saw action. Giddey is coming off a down 2023-24 season with the Thunder, but he's hoping to bounce back in Chicago, where he'll have a bigger role and more freedom on offense.

ImpactHorton-Tucker is battling for a roster spot with the Bulls, and while these performances might strengthen his case, his chances of securing a spot on the Opening Night rotation aren't very high. Horton-Tucker has averaged at least 10.0 points per game in each of his last three seasons, though, so he could provide some scoring and flexibility off the bench in a rebuilding Chicago team.
