Over his 26 appearances in the G League this season with the College Park Skyhawks, Silva averaged 14.2 points (on 58.6 percent shooting from the field), 7.6 boards, 2.3 assists, 0.9 blocks and 0.5 steals in 22.4 minutes per game.

Impact Heading into the past weekend, Miami wouldn't have had a spot available on the roster for Silva once his third 10-day deal expired, but Omer Yurtseven's entry Sunday into the NBA's COVID-19 health and safety protocols allowed the Heat to keep the former around on another hardship allowance. While Yurtseven is likely out for Miami's upcoming four-game week, Silva will move up a spot on the depth chart, but he's unlikely to be included in head coach Erik Spoelstra's rotation with Bam Adebayo and Dewayne Dedmon on hand to fill minutes at center.
