Rudy Gobert - Efficient night in double-doubleGobert logged 17 points (6-7 FG, 5-6 FT), 12 rebounds and one assist in 31 minutes during Saturday's 124-117 loss to the Cavaliers.
ImpactIt was the 17th double-double of the season for Gobert, who enjoyed an efficient night shooting the ball from both the floor and the foul line. The star big man actually played second fiddle to Julius Randle in the rebounding department Saturday, collecting 12 boards to the latter's 14, but fantasy managers can expect Gobert to lead the Timberwolves in this category more often than not.

Julius Randle - Narrowly misses triple-doubleRandle posted 20 points (7-12 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 5-7 FT), 14 rebounds, nine assists and one steal across 38 minutes during Saturday's 124-117 loss to the Cavaliers.
ImpactRandle came one assist short of registering his first triple-double of the season for the Timberwolves on Saturday, but he was able to corral a season-high 14 rebounds to pace the team. While the star forward's usage and rebounding rate remain considerably lower than what they were during his time with the Knicks, Randle is shooting a career-high 81.2 percent from the free-throw line over 42 contests in 2024-25, much to the delight of nine-category fantasy managers.

Anthony Edwards - Team-high 28 points in lossEdwards ended Saturday's 124-117 loss to the Cavaliers with a team-high 28 points (9-22 FG, 4-9 3Pt, 6-6 FT), three rebounds, five assists, one block and one steal over 41 minutes.
ImpactIt was another night at the office for Edwards, who has now scored at least 20 points in eight of his last nine games for the Timberwolves. The superstar guard is set to take on plenty of ball-handling responsibilities as long as new starting point guard Donte DiVincenzo remains out with a toe injury. That said, Edwards has a tough matchup lined up for Monday against a Grizzlies team that ranks sixth in the league in defensive efficiency rating (109.8).

Georges Niang - Steps up with season-high 10 boardsNiang notched 15 points (5-7 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 10 rebounds, one assist and one steal across 29 minutes during Saturday's 124-117 win over the Timberwolves.
ImpactWith Evan Mobley sidelined with a calf injury Saturday, Niang stepped up off Cleveland's bench with his highest scoring output since Jan. 3 against Dallas to go with his first double-double of the season. Although it was sixth man Caris LeVert who drew the start for the Cavaliers in Mobley's stead, Niang may have left enough of an impression to be considered for a start if Mobley sits out Monday's game against the Suns as well. In any case, Niang should offer streaming value in fantasy leagues until Mobley is healthy.

Darius Garland - Another 20-point performanceGarland finished with 29 points (8-19 FG, 5-10 3Pt, 8-8 FT), five rebounds and six assists across 33 minutes during Saturday's 124-117 victory over Minnesota.
ImpactWith his five threes Saturday, Garland buried his most treys since Dec. 21. The star guard has now also reached the 20-point mark in each of his past five games for the Cavaliers as he continues his bounce-back campaign following an injury-riddled 2023-24 season. Fantasy managers can look for Garland to see a bump in usage if Evan Mobley remains sidelined with a calf injury for Monday's game against the Suns.

Donovan Mitchell - Bounces back with 36 pointsMitchell closed Saturday's 124-117 victory over the Timberwolves with a game-high 36 points (12-27 FG, 4-15 3Pt, 8-9 FT), eight rebounds, seven assists and one steal across 34 minu...
ImpactAfter scoring a season-low eight points in Thursday's loss to the Thunder, Mitchell bounced back for the Cavaliers with 36 points against a tough Timberwolves defense to lead all scorers. If Evan Mobley remains out with a calf injury for Monday's game against the Suns, fantasy managers can expect Mitchell to see a slight uptick in usage, considering the superstar guard took his most field-goal attempts Saturday since Nov. 19.
