Removed from injury report Russell (illness) is not listed on the Timberwolves' injury report ahead of Tuesday's play-in matchup against the Clippers. Impact This is obviously great news for the Wolves, who were without Russell for the final two games of the regular season while he battled a non-COVID illness. As a result, Russell may have some minor rust to shake off heading into Tuesday night, but the expectation is that he'll return to his usual high-minute role in the backcourt alongside Patrick Beverley. Russell had an up-and-down finish to the regular season, averaging 14.1 points, 6.7 assists, 2.9 rebounds and 1.7 threes per game over his final 10 appearances. He shot just 37.0 percent from the field and 26.6 percent from three during that stretch, however.
