Grant Golden - Inks Exhibit 10 deal with Denver Golden signed an Exhibit 10 contract with the Nuggets on Monday, Mike Singer of The Denver Post reports.

Impact Golden appeared in 37 games during his final collegiate season at Richmond, averaging 13.7 points, 6.0 rebounds and 2.9 assists across 27.6 minutes per contest. He'll now look to compete for one of the Nuggets' final roster spots ahead of the 2022-23 season, but it's more likely he ends up in the G League.

Michael Porter Jr. - No restrictions entering camp Porter (back) told reporters Monday that he "[doesn't] have any limitations" going into training camp, Harrison Wind of TheDNVR.com reports.

Impact Porter appeared in just nine games before undergoing lumbar spine surgery last December, which ultimately caused him to miss the rest of the 2022-23 season following a setback in March. While it was already expected that the young forward would be healthy for camp, it's encouraging to hear that Porter feels good ahead of the 2022-23 season. If he can manage to stay healthy, he'll be an important part of Denver's rotation as soon as the regular season begins Oct. 19 against Utah.

Justin Tillman - Won't participate in camp Tillman is not expected to be with the Nuggets for training camp, Harrison Wind of TheDNVR.com reports.

Impact It's unclear why Tillman won't be joining the Nuggets at camp, but per Wind's report, it sounds like the team may look to add another player soon to replace Tillman on its training camp roster. As a result, Tillman will likely begin the 2022-23 season in the G League with the Grand Rapids Gold, unless he's waived and picked up by another team.

Jamal Murray - Aiming for preseason opener Murray (knee) said Monday that he's planning to make his return to game action during the Nuggets' first preseason contest Oct. 7, Roy Ward of The Age reports.

Impact Speaking at the opening of an NBA Store in Australia, Murray told local reporters that he continues to progress in his recovery and anticipates being on the floor when Denver kicks off its preseason schedule in Chicago against the Bulls. A torn ACL suffered in April of 2021 wiped out Murray's entire 2021-22 campaign, and it's been a long road back for the dynamic guard out of Kentucky. Initially, it appeared as though Murray may be able to return toward the end of last season, but he struggled to gain full confidence in the knee and ultimately did not rejoin the Nuggets before they were eliminated by the Warriors in Round 1 of the playoffs. Now roughly 16 months removed from the injury, Murray will still need to prove that he's back to his old self, so he'll likely come at a slight discount in early fantasy drafts.

Impact Tillman made the All-G League First Team last season with the College Park Skyhawks. In the regular season, he averaged 23.5 points on 60.0 percent shooting, 11.8 rebounds, 1.1 assists and 1.6 combined steals-plus-blocks. Tillman will presumably be vying for a final roster spot at camp with Denver.

Michael Porter Jr. - Expected to be ready for season Nuggets general manager Calvin Booth intimated Monday that he believes Porter (back) will be healthy for the start of the season, Sam Amico of Hoops Wire reports.

Impact After undergoing lumbar spine surgery Dec. 1 -- his third back procedure in just over four years -- Porter had initially targeted a return to the lineup at some point in March. However, Porter's timeline for playing was pushed back due to a setback, which was a result of overwork rather than an aggravation of the back issue. It's not surprising he'll be healthy for camp -- anything else would be a serious concern -- but fantasy managers have to exercise extreme caution when considering Porter on draft day. The promising forward fell into the lap of the Nuggets during the 2018 Draft due to injury concerns, and those concerns have proven valid. In 2020-21, he ranked 41st in eight-category fantasy leagues on a per-game basis, but the fact is, he's played just 125 games in four years.

Impact This news isn't too surprising given that Murray was practicing 5-on-5 with the Nuggets' Summer League team earlier this month. He missed the entire 2021-22 campaign while recovering from a torn ACL suffered in April of 2021. Fantasy managers should be wary of Murray potentially sitting out back-to-backs and being a little rusty, but he's still one of the better starting point guards in the NBA. Two seasons ago, he averaged 21.2 points, 4.8 assists, 4.0 rebounds and 1.3 steals in 35.5 minutes.
