Donovan Mitchell - Clears protocols, to play FridayMitchell (concussion) cleared the league's protocols Thursday and is expected to return for Friday's game against the Nets, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.
ImpactFollowing an eight-game stint in concussion protocols, Mitchell finally tested out and is on track to appear in his first contest since Jan. 17. Utah has mostly struggled without Mitchell, going just 2-6 in his absence, though it's worth noting that Rudy Gobert (calf) also missed the last five contests. Prior to entering protocols, Mitchell averaged 24.3 points, 5.6 assists, 4.3 rebounds, 1.6 steals and 3.0 threes in eight January appearances.
