Marcus Sasser - Out at least one week The Pistons announced Monday that Sasser (knee) will be re-evaluated in one week, Mike Curtis of The Detroit News reports.
Impact Sasser had already been ruled out for a second consecutive game Monday against the Knicks on account of the right knee contusion he suffered in the fourth quarter of Thursday's 129-115 loss to the Pacers. The rookie guard was already expected to get his minutes squeezed to some degree after trade-deadline pickup Quentin Grimes made his Pistons debut in Saturday's loss to the Magic, so Sasser's absence won't necessarily open up major playing time for any of Detroit's reserve backcourt players.

Impact Even though Fontecchio has not been able to replace Bojan Bogdanovic's contributions, there's no question he's made his presence felt while immediately grabbing a starting role. He has scored in double figures in four of his last five appearances since joining Detroit via trade, averaging 15.4 points and shooting 38.7 percent from the field from three-point range in that stretch. It's a small-sample size, but it shows he's worth targeting in most formats, particularly if he remains in a starting role.

Jalen Duren - Posts another double-double Duren logged 16 points (6-7 FG, 4-6 FT), 11 rebounds, three assists, four blocks and one steal across 33 minutes during Saturday's 112-109 loss to the Magic.
Impact Another game, another double-double for the big man, who continues to make an impact for the Pistons on both ends of the court. Aside from being extremely efficient with his touches near the rim, Duren was excellent defensively and came just one block shy of tying his season-high output in that category. Duren has five double-doubles over his last seven contests.

Cade Cunningham - Scores game-high 26 points Cunningham closed Saturday's 112-109 loss to Orlando with 26 points (11-20 FG, 4-7 3Pt), seven rebounds, four assists and one steal in 31 minutes.
Impact As has been the trend all season long, Cunningham led the Pistons offensively, but the team came up short once again. The star floor general had another impressive display on the offensive end, hitting the 20-point mark for the fourth time across his last six appearances, but he can't do everything alone. Despite the Pistons' struggles, there's no question Cunningham has been a reliable asset in fantasy. He's averaging 20.0 points, 7.5 assists and 4.9 rebounds per game since the beginning of February.

Impact Grimes didn't quite light it up in the box score in his Pistons debut, but he still contributed in every category, and more importantly, saw sizable minutes off the bench in his first game action since Jan. 30. The fact that Ausar Thompson was limited to 21 minutes due to foul trouble might have had a hand in Grimes seeing a big role, as did the continued absence of Isaiah Stewart, who will complete his three-game suspension Monday against the Knicks before returning to action Tuesday in Chicago. Once Stewart is back in the fold, the Pistons will have all of their key contributors available, so Grimes' minutes will be worth watching once the club is at full strength.
