Impact Hayes has been unable to make the most of his opportunities while Cade Cunningham (knee) has been sidelined. Cunningham is nearing a return, and the same is true of Monte Morris (quadriceps). Given Hayes' struggles, his minutes could be in jeopardy when the Pistons get a little healthier.

Impact Morris has yet to appear in a game this season, but he's on the verge of a return. When the Pistons release their injury report on Tuesday evening, Morris could be hit with a questionable tag ahead of Wednesday's game against the Hornets. If he does get the green light to return, he'll likely have restrictions early on.

Stewart posted his second-highest scoring total of the season, behind his season-high 20 points posted Dec. 23 against Brooklyn. Stewart has finished with at lest 15 points and eight rebounds in three games this year.

The cellar-dwelling Pistons have begun trading away roster pieces that aren't part of their core, so a spot in the starting five could open back up for Thompson before long. Until it does though, he's little more than a DFS dart throw or dynasty stash for fantasy purposes.
