Brandon Ingram - Deemed questionable Saturday
Ingram (knee) is questionable for Saturday's game against Atlanta.
Impact
Ingram has missed the last three games due to right knee tendinitis, and it's unclear whether he'll be available Saturday. If he sits out once again, Jordan Hawkins will likely draw another start for New Orleans.

Zion Williamson - Good to go for Saturday
Williamson (rest) isn't listed on the injury report for Saturday's game against the Hawks.
Impact
Williamson took a seat for Thursday's matchup versus Detroit, which was the second half of a back-to-back set, but as expected, he'll be back in action Saturday. Through four appearances, Williamson is averaging 21.5 points, 6.8 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 0.8 steals in 30.8 minutes per game.

Jonas Valanciunas - Double-double against Pistons
Valanciunas posted 23 points (9-16 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 3-4 FT), 13 rebounds, five assists and three blocks across 33 minutes during Thursday's 125-116 win over Detroit.
Impact
It's the second double-double in five games for the veteran center, and Valanciunas produced a season-high scoring performance in the absence of Zion Williamson (rest) and Brandon Ingram (knee). The three rejections were also a season high for JV, and after averaging a career-low 0.7 blocks a game in 2022-23, he appears to be focused on protecting the rim better -- he's collected at least one block in four of the Pelicans' five contests, and his 1.4 blocks per game would be a career high if he can keep it up.

Matt Ryan - Six threes in Thursday's start
Ryan had 20 points (7-10 FG, 6-8 3Pt), two rebounds and two assists in 35 minutes during Thursday's 125-116 win over the Pistons.
Impact
Getting his first career NBA start with both Zion Williamson (rest) and Brandon Ingram (knee) sidelined, Ryan parlayed the opportunity into a career-best scoring performance. The undrafted forward out of Chattanooga has already suited up for four NBA squads in his three seasons, but he seems to have found a home in New Orleans, averaging 24.2 minutes a night in the early going and shooting 41.2 percent (14-for-34) from three-point range.

Herbert Jones - Huge defensive effort Thursday
Jones logged 21 points (6-7 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 9-9 FT), five rebounds, three assists, four blocks and three steals across 34 minutes during Thursday's 125-116 victory over the Pistons.
Impact
The four rejections were a career high for Jones, while the 21 points were a season high for the third-year forward and the three steals doubled his total on the season. Jones' increased scoring came on a night when both Brandon Ingram (knee) and Zion Williamson (rest) were in street clothes, and he'll likely return to his support role when Williamson is back in action Saturday against the Hawks.
